a little bit about myself

I am a passionate and creative individual who has developed extensive skills and expertise in a range of digital design sectors.

I specialise in storytelling through data, while seamlessly integrating best practices into a variety of processes and systems.

Together with my proficiency in design and dedication to cultivating professional visual representations, I have remained committed to creating compelling narratives across the public and private sector.

Alongside my creative roles, my holistic approach to my work has seen me advance to project management positions,

in which I have gained a wealth of experience in business development and was awarded five successful projects, including the dtic Annual Incentive Reports, Minerals Council, International Labour Organisation and GIZ.

My career of over 20 years spans both the corporate and advertising sectors – working with many brands such as Shell, Old Mutual, Woolworths, Johnson & Johnson, and Pep Africa. For the last 11 years, I have largely focused on design communications within the social development sector, working on projects private and public, including the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), as well as non-governmental and donor-funded projects, such as UNICEF, UNESCO, GIZ, International Labour Organisation (ILO), Ilifa Labantwana, Trevor Noah Foundation, Civicus, MasterCard Foundation,

and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, among others.
